Workshop “Large geometric vases” in ceramic - Weekend of February 1st & 2nd

Saturday February 1st :
Learn how to handcraft your own vases with the traditional modeling technique of the plaque. With this technique, you will be able to quickly build various pieces. You create vases and pots of different and personalized shapes, by using our models or drawing by hands… Then we let them dry for the night on the shelves.

Sunday February 2nd :
After learning about the process of painting with “engobes” (decoration technique in ceramic), we start by painting little tiles to test different patterns. We have a very wide choice of colors at Dodo Toucan, most of them we create ourselves. Then you start decorating your creations, to add beautiful and colorful designs to your pieces!

Your creations are then fired in the kiln, at 980°C for 2 days. They will be ready about 20 days after, and you will be able to come pick them up at the shop.

For adults and teenagers from 15 years old.

Your teacher : Lisa, artist ceramist. She speaks French and English.

All materials supplied by us.

Registrations to a workshop can be changed minimum 72h before the day and time of the workshop, by informing our team by email at hello@dodo-toucan.com.
You will receive a voucher corresponding to the amount of the workshop, available 3 months after the date of the initial workshop. 
No reimbursement will be done on workshops.
