steffie brocoli “Muses et Musées”
Exhibition at the Nota workshop, April 2016
For her exhibition “Muses et Musées” (“Muses and Museums”), the illustrator Steffie Brocoli put her hands in the clay at Dodo Toucan’s workshop.
With four hands, we imagined, created and made a series of ceramic pots, sculptures and characters, inspired by her drawings from the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, in Crete. These naive and colorful pieces revisit freely the archetypal shapes of Antic Greece: amphoras, mythological animals, architectural ornaments.
