Come and introduce yourself to ceramic for a weekend!
Saturday, April 5th:
Learn how to create by hand your own little animals, with traditional modeling techniques. After introducing yourself to the basics of modeling, through a common model, you can let your imagination go freely to create your own little family of animals.
Sunday, April 6th:
After learning about the process of painting with “engobes” (decoration technique in ceramic), we start by painting little tiles to test different patterns. We have a very wide choice of colors at Dodo Toucan, most of them we create ourselves.
Then you can start decorating your creations of the day before, to add mustaches, muzzles, ears, and of course some colorful furs and feathers!
Your creations are then fired in the kiln, at 980°C for 2 days, enameled and fired a second time. They will be ready 20 days after your workshop, and you can come pick them up at the shop.

Adults and children from 9 years old.
Your teacher : Lisa, ceramist. She speaks French, and English.
10 people maximum
All materials furnished.

Registrations to a workshop can be changed minimum 72h before the day and time of the workshop, by informing our team by email at hello@dodo-toucan.com.
You will receive a voucher corresponding to the amount of the workshop, available 3 months after the date of the initial workshop.
No reimbursement will be done on workshops.
