Trained as a designer, Sara wanted to reconnect with the touch of materials and the essence of creation: gesture. In 2015, she embarked on the adventure and created Dodo Toucan! The brand's universe is like its name: naive and colorful. Lively and poetic, it has diversified since its creation and is populated with wild animals, lucky charms, and other magical creatures.
Three years later, in 2018, Sara opened her workshop in Paris, and the team expanded to create, sell, and teach the art of ceramics. The space expanded in 2019 to diversify production and welcome more students!

Present in all her creations, nature is a major source of inspiration from which Sara draws patterns and sensations to build her universe. The work of color, the chromatic ranges both tangy and soft, evoke a fairytale book.

Going against the grain of mass production and consumption, each of our pieces is designed, made and painted by hand in our Parisian workshop.

In an artificial world where the human touch is gradually disappearing, we have chosen craftsmanship, which highlights the maker's hand. Expertise, chance, and imperfections are all characteristics of the authenticity of our creations.
Just like the glass partition separating the workshop from the shop, we make our manufacturing processes as transparent as possible. Our only secret ingredients are creativity, meticulousness, and patience.
